DJI Mavic 2 Comes With An Optical Zoom



DJI presented the second generation of probably the best quadcopter on the market right now, and it came out with two versions: Mavic 2 Pro and Mavic 2 Zoom.

The Pro version comes with a camera in collaboration with a Swedish company named Hasselblad. The camera is a 1-inch CMOS sensor with a 20-megapixel resolution,
being able to record 4k HDR video, supporting 10-bit Dlog-M color profile with a wide dynamic range. On top of that Mavic 2 Pro offers a variable aperture of f/2,8-f/11.



The Zoom version comes with a 1/2.5 inch CMOS sensor with a 12-megapixel resolution, 2x optical zoom and a 24-48mm focus range. But thanks to digital zoom Mavic 2 Zoom can get to 4x zoom without losing image quality. Zoom's camera can make 48-megapixel photos, it can record video in 4k. Also, it can make the effect of the expanding space due to change in perspective and depth of field while using Dolly Zoom feature.



While everything else between Mavic 2 Pro and Mavic 2 Zoom is identical. Both drones can reach a speed up to 45 miles per hour, they can transfer Full HD video at a distance of up to 5 miles and fly up to 30 minutes on a single charge.
